Outplacement
Our counselors are ready to help organizations with the entire outplacement process.
We are experienced in assisting human resources personnel and managers with the initial
termination process and will come to the company facility to provide support when an employee
is dismissed. We are experienced in crisis intervention and can provide intensive individual counseling
should an individual need this in dealing with a termination. We will work with outplaced individuals
to ensure that they have as smooth a transition as possible through a very turbulent time.
The CPDI team can provide you with premier outplacement services including:
Executive and Management Coaching

Career Development
Manager as Career Coach
Toxic Coworkers and Bosses
The career counselors at CPDI will coach your executives, managers, and key contributors dealing with
issues related to achieving success, performance, leadership development, and managing both up and down
the organization. We have the unique combination of business, corporate, and management experience along
with knowledge and expertise in performance issues to help your senior level employees develop maximum
effectiveness.
A strong team environment requires that team members both recognize their own personal work styles and
understand how others on the team like to work. We incorporate both appropriate instruments and our
experience as counselors to help your team appreciate inherent differences among team members; identify
team strengths and weaker areas; and create a more dynamic and productive team environment.
Employees who have opportunities for professional growth are more likely to stay with their company and
tend to be more productive in their work. As career professionals, we can help you retain
your best employees by helping them create a career development plan, which may include: enhancing
their current job; finding a better fit within your company; developing a strategy for advancement. We
can design a program for individual employees or conduct a workshop for either a team or multi-disciplinary
group.
One of the more difficult responsibilities of a good manager is to provide an effective professional
development plan for employees. Career counselors at CPDI can train and coach managers to use simple
assessment tools, ask questions, and observe their employees to acquire the necessary information to
help them design an effective development plan.
In trying to maintain bottom line efficiency, managers are often beset with difficult, angry, unproductive
coworkers. Employees, managers, directors and executives may want personal assistance in developing new
ways to handle demanding individuals. We have experience in providing advice and coaching
in this, sometimes uncomfortable, arena.
